Call for Applications:
Jr Grads Coaches – 2026/2027 Season
Cumberland Minor Hockey Association (CMHA) is now accepting applications for Head Coach positions for the upcoming 2026/2027 competitive season.
We’re Looking For:
Dedicated individuals who embody CMHA’s values and are committed to fostering a positive, player-centered development environment. Coaches must meet certification requirements (or be able to obtain them), complete a Vulnerable Sector Check, and demonstrate strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage all team activities on and off the ice
  • Serve as a positive role model and uphold CMHA’s Code of Conduct
  • Plan practices, games, and team communications
  • Ensure player safety and well-being
Eligibility:
  • Minimum age and certification requirements
  • Ability to commit to practices, games, and CMHA meetings
  • Alignment with CMHA’s development philosophy

Selection Process:
Applications will be reviewed by the CMHA Selection Committee. Interviews will be conducted with suitable candidates. Final appointments are subject to Executive Council ratification.
